Who Thought This Was a Good Idea? Probably nobody.

Yet here we are.

We're Rod & Chris, two regular guys who discovered that life has a funny way of ignoring your carefully crafted plans. Between us we've experienced grief, loss, caregiving, careers that took unexpected turns, questionable decisions, and enough awkward moments to fill several seasons of a podcast.

So we figured... why not put microphones in front of it?

Rod & Chris: Unqualified and Unsupervised was never meant to be a show where experts tell you how to live your life. There are plenty of those.

Instead, we invite real people to tell real stories.

Some of our guests have survived incredible loss. Others have found purpose after life knocked them flat. Some make us laugh until we can't breathe. Some leave us speechless. Most do both.

And occasionally...

Our guest gets stuck in Twin Cities traffic.

When that happens, we make conversational goulash.

We believe the best conversations aren't scripted. They're messy. They wander. They take unexpected detours. Kind of like us.
